These thermometers are filled with environmentally safe non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable Enviro-Safe liquid, EnviroKleen certified by ChemTel, an independent laboratory comparable in accuracy to mercury filled thermometers, but are 100 percent environmentally safe.
