About Amprobe RTD-10 Dual Input Digital RTD Thermometer

The Amprobe RTD-10 dual-input thermometer has an external, 100 ohm platinum resistive thermal detector (RTD) and two RTD probes that measure temperature in F and C, and is used for HVAC, indoor air quality, and environmental applications. The meter follows reference temperatures (resistance tables) for Pt385 (European Curve, Alpha=.00385), Pt3926 (American Curve, Alpha=.003926), and Pt3916 (Japan Curve, Alpha=.003916). The meter has an LCD that displays minimum and maximum temperature with elapsed time, and average and relative temperature, and has a data hold feature saves readings for recording, and can be programmed to accept user-defined alarm limits. It requires four AA batteries (included), and includes two RTD connectors, and instructions. Specifications Measurement range for Pt385 (100 ohms) -328 to 1472 degrees F (-200 to 800 degrees C) Measurement range for Pt3916, Pt3926 (100 ohms) -328 to 1166 degrees F (-200 to 630 degrees C) Temperature resolution 0.2 degree F (0.1 degree C) Temperature accuracy (64 to 82 degrees F/18 to 28 degrees C) + or - (0.05 percent of reading + 0.4 degree F), + or - (0.05 percent of reading + 0.2 degrees C) Operating temperature 32 to 122 degrees F (0 to 50 degrees C) up to 70 percent RH Storage environment (with battery removed) -4 to 140 degrees F (-20 to 60 degrees C) up to 80 percent RH Dimensions 9.5 x 6.22 x 3 inches/241.3 x 158 x 76.2 mm (H x W x D) Weight Approximately 0.67 lb. (304g) Specifications met European Community Directives: 89/ 336/ EEC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), and 73/ 23/ EEC (Low Voltage) as amended by 93/ 68/ EEC (CE Marking) H is height, the vertical distance from lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back. Thermometers are used to measure temperature for various applications such as education, general purpose Quality Control (QC) labs and research lab testing, and for biological process monitoring.
