The new Tormek T-4 Tool Sharpening System is designed to deliver professional better than factory edge results. The precision jig-guided control allows you to consistently produce tools with proper edge geometry. The new design adds a level of precision previously only seen on the larger T-7. This Complete Water-Cooled Tool Sharpening system works for Wood Chisels, Plane Irons, Spoke Shaves, Carving Tools, Lathe Turning Tools, Knives, Axes, Scissors, and most edge tools. The included SP-650 Stone Grader improves speed of your sharpening by changing the stone grit from 220 to 1000 grit. The leather stropping wheel then hones and polishes your edge to 6000 plus grit giving you an incredibly sharp edge. The T-4 also comes with the WM-200 Angle Master, PA-70 Honing Compound, user's manual, SP-650 Stone Grader, Universal Support with micro adjust scale and Tormek instructional DVD. Made in Sweden from sturdy, high-quality components. The T-4 utilizes a powerful industrial 120 W maintenance free, near silent 52 dB motor, that is covered by a seven-year warranty. The tool sharpening jigs are sold separately. Keep Your Knives Exceptionally Sharp Designed to be used with Tormek tool-sharpening systems, this patented knife jig can sharpen most standard knives with blades 2-3/8 inches or longer as well as carver's draw knives. Long knives need to be stiff. The jig is 1-3/4 inches wide. Works Easily with Your Tormek Sharpening System The SVM-45 knife jig is simple to use. Adjust the jig to the thickness of your knife by turning the knob. Set the universal support of your Tormek sharpening system, and rest the jig freely on the support so that you can follow the curve of the blade on the grindstone. Lift the knife handle when grinding the tip of the blade. Once you've sharpened one side, simply turn the jig around and grind the other side. Finally, hone away the burr and polish the bevel on your leather honing wheel to achieve a razor-sharp blade.
