Genuine leather: listen up. This is genuine, top-grain leather, walnut brown saddle skirting from Wickett and Craig. If that sounds like gibberish, look them ‘em. This leather is the real deal.

Small size: this honing strop is 6 x 1” (152 x 25 mm) . It’s not a big one because we want it to live on your workbench or that mug full of pencils on your desk without taking up the whole space. The things that are close-by are the things that get utilized.

Compound included: the Green Ultra Fine honing compound included is USA-made and non-waxy or greasy. It functions like a crayon, and doesn’t easily rub off. Ain’t nobody got time for greasy compound gunk all over the place.

Description The Knafs Leather Knife Strop is a tool to get your knives back to razor sharp. It’s made from genuine top-grain leather – walnut brown saddle skirting from Wickett and Craig. This isn't pressed leather garbage. It's overkill, ultra-premium leather that you could make a saddle out of and ride across America. This is the good stuff, amigo. And this knife strop kit is made in USA. This honing strop includes Green Ultra Fine strop compound for polishing and an antiqued brass grommet to hang this puppy in your garage or carabiner it onto a backpack. This leather sharpening strop will help keep the microscopic edge of your knife honed for higher speed, lower drag, happy slicing. Keep in mind: stropping doesn't replace sharpening. It's part of a maintenance program in-between sharpening to keep your tools honed. The benefit there is less sharpening, less blade material removed, and ultimately your tools last longer.
