About Edge Pro 2300 Grit Diamond Matrix Stone - Polishing
After years of searching for polishing stones Edge Pro decided to build their own. The result was what Edge Pro called their polishing stones. After using them for a while and finding how well they performed, Edge Pro expanded the line to include grits from 80 to 4000 - and they are now called their diamond matrix stones. The 2300 and 4000 you'll find to be much more durable and and more convenient than the polishing tapes, and they will give you that mirrored finish you're looking for. If you're wanting a polished edge, and you find the polishing tapes to be too delicate, this is definitely the solution for you. The diamond Matrix line was designed for the sharpening fanatics that insist on the best. Attention to detail and quality are immediately visible when you hold them in your hand. The 4000 grit Matrix sharpening stones have a special feel of their own, and last an incredibly long time. As the resin bonded diamond stone wears, new diamond particles are exposed so the stone continues to cut at the same rate not losing any performance. While they do all we can to reduce voids in the stone we cannot guarantee all diamond sharpening stones will be free of them. These voids will not interrupt the sharpening performance. The stone is the standard 1x6 surface area of all Edge Pro stones and is mounted on an aluminum backing to fit Edge Pro sharpeners. There is also a 4000 grit polishing stone now available.
