Kojic acid is not a bleach or a shortcut solution – it works in tandem with the natural skin renewal cycle (as the skin renews itself, darkened areas will naturally slough off revealing lighter, clearer skin). Kojic acid powder dissolves in aqueous based solutions (water-based lotions and serums) but will not dissolve in oil based solutions (such as heavy creams). To facilitate dissolution, kojic acid can be first dissolved in warm water, or you can heat the mixed lotion to approximated 104 degrees Fahrenheit.This product is a cosmetic raw ingredient.
