About Jackson Safety PL 280 Pipeline Welding Hood - Flip
Made especially for pipeline applications, the Jackson Safety PL280 welding helmet comes with a spring-loaded lift front for maximum versatility, and the Super Tuff nylon material is built for the harshest welding extremes. Spring-loaded lift front provides added flexibility by eliminating the need to raise the hood during pre/post preparation work. Slotted hard hat adaptor allow easy attachment to most slotted hard hats (Models 14302 and 14312). Super Tuff nylon material provides a lightweight yet durable design and performs in the harshest welding extremes. Patented lens retention system provides effortless loading of filter, cover, and protective plates. Exclusive Super Kool coating sheds spatter and reduces heat buildup found in traditional helmets (Model 14311 and 14312). Comes complete with a Z87.1+ high impact polycarbonate window and a 2” x 4.25” Shade 10 filter.
