The Skullerz 8976 Type 2 Safety Helmet is a Class E Safety Helmet with a 6-point suspension and an EPS foam interior halo for all-around impact protection. This helmet provides heavy-duty, yet lightweight and comfortable head protection designed to shield the front, back, top and sides of the head from falls, dropped objects or bumping into stationary objects. Compared to 4-point suspension systems, the 6-point suspension better disperses the force of an impact. The compact helmet design improves visibility, and a chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer’s head upon impact or sudden movement such as a slip, trip or fall. The safety helmet meets ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019), Type II, Class E requirements. The suspension and shell design of this helmet provides added side, front and back protection compared to an ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2014 (R2019) Type I requirements.
