About HJW Electronics Logarithmic Potentiometer Mono A
Logarithmic Audio Taper Potentiometer, Variable Resistor, Mono Log Pot, T18 Splined Shaft BAS This is one item of single gang, logarithmic taper carbon track potentiometer. These are new items and come with a nut and a washer for mounting on a front panel. The standard T18 splined shaft is 6mm diameter. The mounting hole required is 7mm diameter. The connection pins will allow either PCB mounting or soldered wire connections. The "A" prefix before the track resistance value denotes a log audio track taper suitable for audio volume level controls. The maximum track power rating is 0.1W. The threaded part of the shaft is 6mm long in all cases. The main body diameter is approximately 16mm. The turning part of the shaft varies in length from 8mm to 14mm depending on the track particular track resistance variant. The anti-rotation lug is not present on all variants. A rear plastic cap is not present on all variants. The particular variation pictures show the exact item type in each case. If you have a pot with a track label of A503, this is an A50K where 3 is the number of zeros after 50 in Ohms. A 502 would be 5K, a 472 would be 4K7 etc.
