EVOLVED HARVEST PH METER The Evolved Harvest PH Meter is an easy way to check the pH levels of your soil. Simply set the button, insert approximately 6" into the soil and wait 1 minute to take your reading. A proper pH level will ensure that plants can best utilize nutrients in the soil. The Harvest pH Meter not only indicates the amount of alkalinity or acidity in the soil but also measures moisture content and light amounts. MAIN FEATURES: - Test soil pH before selecting a new food plot site; - Easy-to-use soil tester; - Measures alkalinity, acidity, moisture and sunlight content; - Can only be used in soil; - Maximize your soil conditions. PROPER PH: Soil pH regulates how many nutrients plants can absorb. The correct pH varies by seed variety typically somewhere between 5.5 and 7.5. It is easy to test soil pH using the Harvest pH meter. Add lime at approximately 2000 pounds/acre to raise pH by one point - this can take up to 6 months to take full effect. High pH is uncommon, but can be corrected by adding sulfur.
