Thomas hot plate stirrers deliver superior performance and repeatable results. Low-profile, spill-resistant housing channels fluids away from internal components. Microprocessor control regulates both heating and stirring functions. Speed is precisely controlled and provides consistent stirring throughout the entire range. Ramping feature slowly increases speed to avoid splashing, improves magnetic coupling and provides low speed control. Ceramic top plate features a chemical-resistant, reflective white top plate surface that is easy to clean. Ceramic temperature range is ambient 5 degree C to 500 degree C. Powerful, continuous duty motor and magnet deliver dependable and reliable stirring for a long service life. Two-year warranty on parts and labor. Top plate measures 4" length by 4" width. Speed stability: +/-2 percent.
