About Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease Lubricant, 1 Oz

DOW CORNING HIGH VACUUM GREASE, Package Size: 57 gm. (2 oz.). Designed for sealing and lubricating vacuum and pressure systems. It is a stiff, non-melting silicone lubricating material that maintains its consistency from -40 to 204°C (-40 to 400°F). It is used in applications similar to those for Dow Corning Stopcock Grease, and is the recommended replacement for that product. Previously known as Dow Corning 976 or 976V High Vacuum Grease. Any specifications calling for Dow Corning 976, Dow Corning 976V or Dow CorningStopcock Grease can be satisfied with Dow Corning High Vacuum Grease. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: - Insoluble in water, methanol, ethanol, acetone, glycol and glycerine. - Unaffected by most vegetable and minerals oils, many organiccompounds, and most common gases. - Resistant to most aqueous solutions of inorganic salts and to dilute acids and alkalies.
