The Haws 7260B-7270B wall-mounted plastic bowl eye/face wash is an eyewash station that has a round receptor, an eyewash head with a pop-off cover, and a push handle, and it can be used in a laboratory or medical facility to quickly flush and clean the eyes and face if exposed to a corrosive substance. The round 11" diameter receptor is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, which resists heat, impacts, and certain chemicals. The Axion ASR eye/face wash head assembly delivers an even flow of water for comfort and safety. A yellow plastic cover protects the eyewash head from dust and pops off with ease when the water is turned on. The handle can be pushed once to quickly turn on the water and has an illustration that shows how to operate it. A ball valve controls the water flow, contains a stainless steel ball and stem, and is made of chrome-plated brass for durability. An in-line chrome-plated brass mesh strainer collects debris. A 1/2" IPS (Iron Pipe Size) inlet and a 1-1/4" IPS waste line can be connected to plumbing. An aluminum bracket enables the eye wash unit to be mounted to a wall. A universal sign shows users what the eyewash station does. This product meets American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard Z358.1 for emergency eyewashes and shower equipment. (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
