The Vestil ATD-1622-6 steel adjustable tote dolly has a steel frame and four 6-inch swivel caster wheels, and the width and depth of the dolly can be adjusted to transport totes of different sizes (totes sold separately). The dolly is made of steel, which is stronger than aluminum and more resistant to fractures than cast iron. The blue powder-coated finish resists scratches, chipping, fading, and other wear. The caster wheels swivel for maneuverability, measure 6 inches in diameter, and are made of nylon to help prevent marks or scratches to floors. One of the wheels has a brake to keep the dolly from rolling. This dolly has a uniform static load capacity of 3,000 lb., weighs 42 lb., and measures 16 x 22 inches (W x D) at its smallest and 24 x 34 inches (W x D) at its largest. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) It is intended for use in professional and industrial environments. Dollies are used to transport any of a variety of large, heavy objects, such as cabinets, crates, drum containers, furniture, heavy machinery, large appliances, rolls of carpet, or totes. Dollies are typically comprised of a low platform or deck mounted to caster wheels that may swivel for maneuverability and may include brakes to keep the dolly from rolling. Some dollies have adjustable frames to transport loads of different sizes. Others come with a pull handle to help the user move the dolly. Dollies can be used by professional movers or in warehouses or other industrial environments. Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions.
