Product Description The Starrett 270 steel taper gauge has inch and millimeter graduations for measuring hole and slot sizes. The gauge has 0.001 graduations from .010 to .150" on one side and 0.05mm graduations from 0.3 to 4mm on the other side. It has a steel body for durability and long life. The gauge measures 7/16 x 6-1/4 inches/11 x 160mm (W x L, where W is the horizontal distance from left to right, L is the horizontal distance from front to back). The L.S. Starrett Company manufactures precision measuring tools, metrology and testing equipment, and saw blade products. The company, founded in 1880, is headquartered in Athol, MA.
