ImmunoLytics DIY Home Mold Test Kit tests for mold, such as black mold, yeast and and all other molds associated with poor air quality. Each mold test kit contains detailed instructions, 5 test plates, stickers and labels, proof storage pouch for wrapping plates post-testing, return shipping box and a Lab Analysis & Consultation Form. We recommend you test for mold in areas such as your attic, basement, bedrooms, car, kitchen, laundry room, den/great room and your office at home and work. Each test plate is sufficient for a 14 foot by 14 foot room or approximately 200 square feet. Note: If a room exceeds this area, it may require additional plates for adequate coverage. Once you receive your home mold test kit, register your kit. Then, follow these step by step instructions. These instructions are also included in your test kit. We also offer online video tutorials showing you how to test your home and how to interpret your results. Step 1: Evaluate which areas need to be tested. You can test rooms, vehicles, pets, clothing, carpeting, and other surfaces. Step 2: Test your rooms, cars, pets and surfaces for mold. Test as soon as possible, but do not open the mold test plates until you are ready to use them. Step 3: Seal with the included stickers and label the bottom of your samples. For each sample, fill out 2 labels, one for the sample and one for the lab analysis form. Use 2 stickers per sample for a proper seal. Step 4: Analyze your samples via two options. Option 1: Self-Analysis. Wait 4 to 5 days for mold to develop. Analyze once visible. Option 2: Send to Lab, as soon as your samples are sealed and labeled, fill out the Lab Analysis & Consultation Form (included in your kit). Detailed steps are included on the form. Once completed, send the kit back with samples and the form. Analysis costs just $33 per plate.
