This pointy tip is inserted inside the bottle to keep the liquid from leaking. This product was designed and manufactured in this way. In most cases, the opening is blocked. For this specific product, however, because the pointy tip is placed inside already. The pointy tip fits exactly into the hole. Therefore, a separate blockage is not needed in this product.
