About Sealmaster RPB 203-2 Pillow Block Tapered Roller
The Sealmaster RPB pillow block tapered roller bearing has a cast-iron housing with two bolt holes, double setscrew locking collars, and felt seals. This ready-to-mount unit is a split-housing design with a removable housing cap to help with mounting, inspection, and maintenance. The housing is made of cast iron and has a tapered roller bearing insert. This relubricatable non-expansion-type bearing uses double setscrew locking collars for secure attachment to the guided shaft. A felt seal protects against contamination and helps retain lubricant. The pillow block is suitable for carrying shafts with radial or radial-and-thrust loads and is rated for use in heavy-duty applications.Mounted bearings combine a bearing mounted inside a housing unit. The bearing housing replaces the need for a casting or weldment to position the bearing securely for reliable operation, and its design determines the type of insert bearing.
