Hidrotape - 4" X 164ft Anti-Fracture Membrane - for Features

  • PRODUCT: 4" x 164ft ‘Hidro tape’ is Reinforcing and strengthening waterproofing fabric. Used to create a waterproofing system for wall or floor cracks. Protects against deformations and mechanically strengthens the base structure.

  • MATERIAL: Made from highly durable and easy to adjust fabric.

  • INSTALATION: Should be installed in the first layer of hydro-insulation(Waterproofing). 1) Clean floor and wall surfaces. 2) Optional: Use waterproof primer for better adhesion. (should always be used between walls/floors and any other material - Paint/tile glue/ waterproofing membrane etc) 3) Install Tape - preferably using other Waterproofing product, like, liquid rubber waterproofing(or other common polymers). Can be installed with other chemical based adhesives.

  • LONG-LASTING AND COST-EFFECTIVE - Your shower and bathroom is guaranteed vapor and water-proof. Increases the lifespan of bathroom/sauna/toilet/walk in shower or any other wet-rooms. Probably the best reinforcing tape on the market.

  • DO NOT: Do not use AS waterproof barrier - This reinforcing tape membrane has to be used in connection with cement or polymer based waterproofing.

About Hidrotape - 4" X 164ft Anti-Fracture Membrane - For

Repa Market Vincent Polyline series waterproofing Products. - Reinforcing waterproofing fabric Tape 8" x 82ft Waterproofing 101: Concrete / cement-based surfaces must be intact, clean, free from surface water and dust/dirt. Before applying the waterproofing, the surface must be primed with a waterproofing primer. - Polymer Waterproofing products can be applied with a brush, roller or sprayed with compressed air on a whole, pre-prepared surface in two coats. It is recommended to work each of them in it's own direction. The second round is processed only when the first coat has become non-stick, it can be touched freely, or within 24 hours after the first round of processing. - Cement based product application with a putty. On the prepared surface with a trowel apply a thin layer of "cement based product". On the fresh first layer apply the next "cement based product" layer so that the total thickness of the layer is at least 2 mm. Fiberglass mesh is recommended to be used in cases where it is necessary to create waterproofing microcracked surfaces or on the above prestressed structures. Immediately after fiberglass mesh installation press in the first layer, align this layer with a towel. To fully cover fiberglass mesh, apply a second waterproofing round. A second coat of waterproofing may be applied only when the previous has hardened (after 4-5 hours). All unstable surfaces (cracks, deformation joints, corners, vertical surfaces, floor and wall joints) must be reinforced with waterproofing tape "Hidro Tape" or a suitable polyester, fiberglass cloth a sieve inserted between two layers of liquid waterproofing membrane. The waterproofing layer application must be protected from aggressive mechanical effects. Tests for watertightness are not suggested no earlier than 4 days after the installation.
