Description This Eaton E59-M12A105D01-D1 shielded three-wire intelligent inductive proximity sensor has a 12 mm diameter, a 4 mm sensing range, a normally open (NO) output, and an operating voltage of 6 to 48 VDC. It has a four-pin micro DC connector for use with a micro-style female cable (not included) and is suitable for a wide range of industrial automation applications. The sensor has a 303 stainless steel barrel for resistance to corrosion with a Ryton (PPS, polyphenylene sulfide) face cap for impact resistance, mechanical strength, and dimensional stability, and a 360-degree dual-color LED indicator. It automatically detects a sinking (NPN) or sourcing (PNP) connection and switches the sensor accordingly. It has an embedded microprocessor for increased detection range and the ability to customize output type, range, band sensing, nuisance metal rejection, timing delays, and over/under speed detection using an Eaton iProx programming cable and ProxView software (not included). The sensor can withstand electrical noise up to 20 V/m and temperatures from -40 to +158 degrees F (-40 to +70 degrees C). It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Underwriters Laboratories of Canada (cUL) Listed, and displays the European Conformity (CE) mark.
