Properly recycle dry cell batteries - collect in 1-gallon container and mail-back for proper recycling. Acceptable batteries for this kit: Alkaline, Nickel Cadmium (NiCad), Zinc-Carbon (Zn), Rechargeable Lithium-ion (Li-Ion), Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH), Mercury, Silver-Oxide. 1-Gallon Dry Cell Battery Recycle Kit includes 1-gallon plastic pail, cardboard box (for shipping pail), heavy plastic liner, zip tie to seal liner for shipping, velcro tabs (seal between uses), zip tie to seal liner for shipping, pre-paid return shipping label. Documentation included for obtaining Certificates of Recycling online. IMPORTANT: All battery terminals must be taped – pay special attention to batteries over 9 volts. BATTERIES PROHIBITED FOR THIS KIT: Non-rechargeable Primary Lithium Batteries including Lithium-Sulfur Dioxide (LiSO2), Lithium Manganese Dioxide (LiMnO2), Lithium Thionyl Chloride (LiSOC12), all lead acid and wet cell batteries, and batteries containing more than 25 grams of lithium or more than 5 grams of lithium per cell.
