The aim of this book is to provide the reader with the basic genetic knowledge of breeding Clivia plants. The author, Johan Spies, was involved in conventional breeding for about four years, devoted 10 years to chromosomal research on plants, resulting in a PhD, and 26 years as lecturer and researcher at the University of the Orange Free State.
