This remarkable, low profile version is thinner and more flexible than similar reclosable fasteners and can be opened and closed up to 100 times for repeated access or repositioning. The mushroom heads easily slide over each other allowing positioning of parts before they are snapped together to create a firm fastening attachment. When mated, the clear fastener offers transparent properties to allow color and patterns to visibly show through giving the fastener an almost invisible appearance. The pressure-sensitive, low surface energy acrylic adhesive provides a good adhesion for many applications and adheres well to metals, glass, and many plastics, powder coated paints, and medium to low surface energy materials.
