Selecting inside mount is not 100% blackout, and there will be some light around. If you want 100%Blackout, you need to choose outside mount. For outside mount: Roller blind's width needs to be at least 4" wider than the window frame width. Blind length needs to be at least 2" longer than the window length, to cover the entire window.
