The base can be flipped over and used as a serving tray with five sections. Completely food safe for any food. *****Care Instructions: If kept in refrigerator or freezer, allow time for the plastic to warm to near room temperature before opening. This will decrease the chances of the locking snaps breaking. *****Use Instructions: For best results, press one side of each locking snap at a time. This will make it easier to close and decrease the chance the locking snap will break. *****Locking snap is designed to be tight. This ensures that the top stays securely attached to the bottom.
