This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a portrait of a woman a decorative head dress on.I am a self-taught artist living in Southern California. I was born in manila, Philippines. I graduated with degree in bachelor of fine arts, majoring in interior design at University of santo tomas. I have been painting for almost 12 years as a hobby, and then I started giving them as gifts for birthdays, weddings and different occasions. As a designer, some of my artwork has been used as accessories for my client's houses, stores and offices. I like using joyful, whimsical colors.Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
