About Diamond Ring By Octavian Mielu, 12x19-Inch Canvas

This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a neon line drawing of a diamond ring making one of two handcuffs. Octavian Mielu was born in 1988 in Bucharest. Since he was a little kid, he remembers drawing on his parents' apartment walls. He graduated with a degree in management and marketing, but wasn't happy and returned to what he loved to do. Mielu plans to open a real art studio soon in which to reach a new level of art - fine art, with a different style. He loves street art and pop art and tries to insert humor and sarcasm into his works. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
