This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a patent poster of a batwing. Cole borders, founder of patent prints, recreates the original patent drawings from a myriad of inventions. From household items and toys to machines and gadgets, these creations are technical yet refined and even playful. Cole was first inspired by a patent drawing of a Duck Calli1/2It was interesting and artful. Intrigued by SCHEMATICS and s, he loved the idea that most products start with a hand drawing. So he began producing patent art prints that make distinctive pieces with an educational flare. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions.
