It is a terrific tool for slicing cabbage into 1mm-5mm strands for placement your fermenting crock to make sauerkraut. Place your vegetable securely inside the cabbage box and slide it over the 3 very sharp stainless steel cutting blades. This mandolin makes for quick, easy, and efficient shredding.
