An EXCELLENT light weight mineral oil that cleans and maintains the effectiveness of your Natural Arkansas Novaculite Sharpening Stones!
Use: Dan’s recommends using Honing Oil with your Natural Arkansas Novaculite Whetstones during AND after sharpening by rubbing a liberal amount of honing oil onto the stone & then wiping the excess away with a clean cloth. Small metal shavings are made when you sharpen your blade and these can clog the pores in your stone making it harder to sharpen your blade. Dan’s Honing Oil helps float these metal particles and keep your stone’s pores from getting clogged.
