Here's a lot of 6 large round 8.75" FINE OR "POLISH" GRADE wine filter pads to fit many air pressure or gravity frame type wine filters. Most of these types filters have been sold under the Vintage Shop, Vinamat, True Brew, and "Wine and Beer Plate Filter" brands of wine/beer plate filters. We know they fit all of these that are set up for the 8.75" round filter pad. Most of these filter frames require 2 pads per run so this is three pairs, enough pads for three runs. Your frame should look like the ones in the photos (not included). - There are three grades available for your filter. This listing is for the STERILE filter. See our other listings for the other types: - COARSE: These pads are used mainly for heavy bodied wines. They will produce clarity for your wine, without loss of body. - POLISH: These pads are used for brightening and polishing your wine. Filtering with these pads will result in a brightness in color and a more brilliant clarity. - STERILE: These pads are used to remove a very high percentage of the yeast. - Use of Bentonite or similar fining agents is recommended 1 to 2 weeks prior to filtration. The wine should be passed through Polish grade filter pads before attempting to filter through the Sterile grade filter pads. - - Each filter pad set is good for approximately 6 gallons of wine or beer when the beverage has been filtered by the previous size pads or you are starting with the coarse filters. - These pads are not designed to be back flushed and reused and should be used in one session and then thrown away.
