The pressure cooker is making a comeback. Flavors are much more intense as a result as well. This machine from MIU France is constructed of impact bonded stainless steel for rapid and even heat distribution and features two cooking levels. Level 1 is for slow cooking at low pressure. Level 2 is for quick cooking at high pressure. The fully automatic lid-locking system prevents opening under pressure. Foods that tend to foam and froth during cooking are not suitable for pressure cookers as it can block the safety valves. Pressure cooker works with halogen, induction, gas and electric stovetops.
