The 15-1/2-inch Rectangular handled dish is oven to table safe and perfect for making entertaining simple. Just as on the matching dinnerware, the historic 1816 pattern is rendered in rich cobalt blue using Spode's famous underglaze printing. The classical scene of Roman ruins and pastoral landscape fills the center of the pan, while a Chinese-inspired floral border wraps the rim and two handles. The pastoral scene is repeated on the exterior of each side. Generously deep, the outer dimensions of the dish measure 15-1/2 by 11-1/4 by 2-3/4 inches, while the inside dimensions measure 13 by 10 by 2-1/2 inches. Brownies, sheet cakes, and fruit crumbles also bake perfectly in the dish. Made in England of Spode's highest-quality earthenware known as Imperialware, the durable Blue Italian baker can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer, and is safe for the oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
