Description Magic Makko from The Incense Dragon If you’ve ever wanted to make your own natural incense sticks, cones, or coils, Magic Makko is exactly what you’ve been looking for. Whether you are brand new to incense making or you’re an old pro, you’ll love my new Magic Makko. This is simply the easiest to use, friendly incense base you’re likely to ever see. It’s actually a very mild incense on its own, but its real purpose is to act as a base material for whatever aromatics you’d like to put in incense. Add your favorite ingredients (like frankincense, dragon’s blood, lavender, rosemary, or many others) to a few tablespoons of Magic Makko, add some water, and you will be able to make amazing incense cones, sticks, or whatever form you desire. Dry your incense for a few days and it will be ready to burn. Magic Makko contains 9 different ingredients including 2 wood binders (tabu no ki and joss powder), 1 gum binder (guar gum), along with ingredients to help your incense burn better and to enhance the scent of whatever herbs, resins, or woods you add to it. Magic Makko is the perfect match with my Extruder 2.0 (for making joss sticks and incense coils) or my Bamboo “Splits” for making masala-style incense sticks. Magic Makko is blended by hand in small batches in my shop in Oregon. It contains only natural ingredients and contains no potassium nitrate, DPG, or other synthetic chemicals. It has been rumored that this makko is gray because The Incense Dragon includes the ashes of unscrupulous incense vendors whom he has burnt to dust. The Incense Dragon’s legal advisers continue to strongly deny this mostly unfounded rumor.
