Possibly derived from Greek (posis) "husband, lord" and (da) "earth". In Greek mythology Poseidon was the unruly god of the sea and earthquakes, the brother of Zeus. He was often depicted carrying a trident. Cold cast bronze is a term used to describe the process of mixing bronze powder with a translucent casting resin and applying the mixture into a mold. The finished casting give the appearance and weight of solid metal.
