4.75” square x 1.25”d resin box triptych with hinged 1/4”d doors that open to 9.5”w. Applied gold leaf. Exterior of box is decorated with gold heart and blue etchings. Inside, bas-relief carving of man and woman couple, decorated with blue ombré, carvings of birds and flowers and gold leaf dots. Writing inside left door "you are," and on right door, "my one true love."

TITLE: Duet Triptych Box SENTIMENT: Our Love Song DESCRIPTION: Duet is a very personal gift-small and intimate-sculpted in bas-relief inside a 4.75" square box that opens as a triptych to reveal a romantic scene, embellished with gold leaf. Message written inside doors: "You are my one true love". A romantic Valentine's gift, wedding or anniversary gift, given to one's true love. Duet can be displayed open or closed, hung on a wall, or free standing. Hinged doors open flat or at an angle. Duet is packaged in a custom-designed, protective Signature Collection Gift Box. Since 1999, American artist Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with DEMDACO to produce, market and distribute Willow Tree, her line of carved figurative sculpture. From her studio in Kansas City, Lordi hand carves the original of each piece. This piece is cast from Lordi's original carving and painted by hand. Enclosed inside the fitted packaging box is a gift-giving card with piece title and sentiment on it.
