Frigga, also known as Frigg, is a significant goddess in Norse mythology. She is the wife of the mighty god Odin and is considered the queen of Asgard, the realm of the gods. Frigga is associated with love, marriage, fertility, and motherhood. She is known for her wisdom and abilities in prophecy and seership, although she rarely reveals her visions due to a code of silence. As a mother figure, Frigga is known to have several children with Odin, including Balder, Hodr, and Hermod. She is deeply concerned for her children's well-being, and when the gods found out about a prophecy stating that Balder would die, she made it her mission to seek oaths from all creation to protect him from harm. Unfortunately, she had overlooked the mistletoe plant, which ultimately became the instrument that led to Balder's death.
