Part of the Black Legacy collection, the Sweet Fragrance sculpture from Lladro captures a moment of innocence, youth, and joy in nature. Crafted from premium porcelain with a lovely pastel palette and gloss finish, the piece features a seated young woman gazing down with pleasure at a handful of flowers. She is dressed in an elegant gown with flowing skirts, and her hat is intricately detailed, as are the blossoms. Expressive of innocence, daydreaming, and joy, the piece is the original creation of sculptor Joan Coderch. It stands 7-1/2 inches high and first entered the Lladro catalog in 2002. Founded by a trio of Spanish brothers in 1953, Lladro is known the world over for superb craftsmanship and timeless images. Designed by artists and created by skilled artisans, each piece is fashioned in the company’s City of Porcelain workshops in Valencia. Perfect gifts and favorites with collectors, Lladro sculptures make treasured additions to the home and are sure to become heirlooms over the years.
