Warm Tips: 1.The pump head and inlet piping must be filled with liquid before priming the pump. 2.Not suitable for high viscosity liquids such as melted wax, cream, and olive oil. 3.Please clean pump immediately after use. How do Priming the Magnetic Drive Pump? (Do not run the pump dry!) 1. Position the pump about 12” lower than the liquid source vessel. 2. Open the vessel's valve and let the liquid fill the pump head and inlet tubing via gravity. 3. Open the valve on the pump outlet and then power the pump. 4. Check for flow on the outlet hose immediately after you turn on the pump. If no flow in the outlet hose, please immediately turn off the pump and re-priming later. How to Control the Flow of the Magnetic Drive Pump? Install an NPT 1/2 ball valve at the pump outlet to control the flow rate. Please do not install a ball valve at the pump inlet to restrict the flow, it will cause the pump to run dry and damage the pump.
