1) you must put it together by yourself, 2) There are no step-by-step instructions, only an exploded view. If followed very carefully, assembly should not be difficult. 3) I recommend not hammering the pieces together until you have everything tentatively connected and you are sure you have everything right. Once you have begun to hammer them, you will not be able to pull them apart if you find you have made a mistake. 4) Notice that the tubes have raised splines on each end. Be sure to line them up with the grooves in the connectors.
