Made of genuine solid die cast brass, this professional grade "arrow" base stop by idh by St. Simons of California is a true, classic, period authentic reproduction. This base stop design has been around close to 100 years and it is still as popular as ever. Use it on all your doors to prevent wall damage. This stop has a projection of 3" and is long enough to provide enough clearance for most standard door lever handles, door knobs, and door mounted towel bars. Unlike other base stops that come with baseboard screws of less than 1" and a small diameter base, idh's 13010-014 has an extra-long hanger screw (1-1/2") and a much wider base (1-1/4") that virtually eliminates the possibility of accidental or "non-accidental" kick Offs.
