The Barbarian Obliterator Cleaver weighs in at over 2.5lbs and features a broad, square, deep blade that tapers from a thick spine down to a fine edge. Cleave your way through meat, bone, and anything else that comes between blade and board. Use the broad blade to transfer your cuts from the board to the plate or pan. Use the details on the spine for different grips. The Barbarian Obliterator blade features a custom “Battle Scar” pattern and arrowhead cutout for friction reduction, so each slice falls away from the blade. Unlike the other blades in this series, the Obliterator features 7CR17MOV steel for greater impact resistance. A titanium blade coating adds corrosion resistance and robustness. The double bevel blade is sharpened to 16-18° per side using Dalstrong’s Diamond Detailing (D3) sharpening method. Get optimized grip and control with the textured, stabilized wood handle of the Barbarian series. The angles fit snugly into the palm, and custom jimping along the spine and tang ensure your grip won’t slip.
