Our Original Kombucha Tea Blend delivers a smooth, medium body, combining the citrusy notes of Single Estate Ceylon Black and the smoky, earthy tones of Wuyi Oolong. It's traditional kombucha straight up—offering a clean and delicious brew on its own or the perfect base for future flavoring during second fermentation. Our Original flavor is the loose leaf tea base used for all of our kombucha cultures and is the tea that comes in our home brewing kits. Think of it as your go-to recipe for making great tasting, classic kombucha. Behind every refreshing sip of kombucha is an exceptional tea. At The Kombucha Shop, we obsess over the details. Using only organic, fair-trade ingredients, we craft our custom tea blends to promote the healthy balance of yeast and bacteria that helps you produce a delicious brew - every time. Directions: Use 3 TBSP of this tea blend to make 1 gallon of Kombucha. Bring water to a boil and turn off. Add tea and steep for 5 - 7 minutes.
