FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What grade of Matcha is this, and how do I use it? This is our Ingredient Grade Matcha. Sourced from late harvest tea leaves, this grade is our most cost effective. Astringent in flavor but still rich in nutrients, it’s great for supplements and commercial food production. Many customers also use this grade in smoothies and baked goods. Does it contain caffeine? Yes, each half-teaspoon (1g) serving contains roughly 16-20mg of caffeine, about 1/4 a cup of coffee. What are other health benefits? - Rich in antioxidants. Are there other use cases for this matcha? Yes! Many of our customers make a healthy facial mask using our Ingredient Grade, by mixing it with just a bit of water to form a paste.
