About Taiwan Sun Moon Lake Red Jade Black Tea 12 Pyramid
Red Jade black Tea (also know as Taiwan No. 18) is one of Asia’s most unique and sought after tea varieties. Unique to Taiwan, Red Jade black tea farms are found nestled deep within the mountains of central Taiwan on the mountainsides surrounding Taiwan’s picturesque Sun Moon Lake. For generations, Red Jade Tea farmers have harnessed waters from this pristine mountain lake to use in the cultivation of this unique tea. A combination of traditional farming methods, jungle climate and pure lake waters produce a truly wonderful black tea known for its smooth pallet, floral aroma and sweet honey flavor. Taiwan Tea & Co.’s Red Jade black tea is grown in micro batches (producing less than 440lbs per harvest) using only natural cultivation and hand processing methods. This intensive farming methodology, absent of pesticides, preservatives and chemical additives, produces a truly spectacular black tea that is both unadulterated in production and pure in flavor.
