These bed rails are designed to hook into a FULL size headboard and footboard, and allow you to place a QUEEN size mattress on top. Please understand that these rails will only hook into Full size headboards, and will only accept Queen size mattresses.

Now old full beds can adatpt to new modern queen size mattresses.When the hook in side rails are attached, they are 82 inches in length. Once the side rails are installed the system provides an extra inch at each end of an 80 inch long queen size mattress.
