It is exceptionally pure, and is 100% naturally formed from Mother Earth. As with all chalk, edible chalk was formed from stone composed of calcite, and originally formed deep under the sea by the compression of microscopic plankton that had settled to the sea floor. Through time these deposits rose to the surface due to the Earth's tectonic activity.

Our food grade, premium edible chalk is made up of 99% pure calcium carbonate and comes directly from chalk deposits in the mountains near the city of Belgorod. It has the most, and we mean the most audible crunch we’ve ever had the pleasure of trying. It will ring in your ears - it will be like the crunch heard around the world! If for no other reason, we’re sure you’ll fall in love with this earthly delight for the audio alone! It is sawn into 2 x 2 x 8 cm bars for your convenience, so you can take it with you for that boost of calcium on the fly, whether it be at work, the gym, or on a trip. However, make sure you drink lots of water to wash it down easier and help your body properly absorb the nutrients! The chalk is also great for a variety of bodily issues, from gastric issues, to calcium deficiencies. We do not recommend eating more than one bar every two days, as each bar is about 33g of pure calcium.
