Rice/Wafer paper is a starch-based edible paper. Images are slightly transparent and not be as high quality or bright as those printed on icing sheets. You should use only white coloured icing under the image. Rice/wafer paper is sugar free. Rice/wafer paper will not dissolve into frosting so it will not dissolve into the surface of a frosted cupcakes. Rice/wafer paper also has a tendency to curl or wrinkle when refrigerated or placed on moist cakes. They are Kosher and FDA approved and contain no known allergens.
