Buon Vino Super Jet Wine Purifier Filter Pads Features

  • Powerful Pre-Filtration: #1 Coarse filtration pads remove large particles and sediment from young wines aged 2–4 weeks, preparing them for further filtration. With a 6–10 micron pore size, they improve clarity while protecting finer pads in later stages of filtration.

  • Exclusive Super Jet Design: Specifically engineered for use with the Super Jet System, these coarse pads provide seamless compatibility and reliable performance, making them the go-to choice for home winemakers aiming for professional results.

  • Sanitization and Soaking: Soak the pads in one quart of cold water mixed with 0.75 grams of metabisulfite and 3.5 grams of citric acid. Allow the pads to soak until they no longer float, ensuring full saturation for effective filtration.

  • Prevents Filter Clogging: Removes large debris to prevent clogging of pumps and finer-grade pads, extending the life of your filtration system and ensuring smooth wine flow through every stage of the process.

  • Three-Pack Convenience: Each pack contains 3 coarse filter pads, designed to be used together for a single filtration session. Perfect for filtering cloudy or sediment-heavy wines, whether you're a beginner or experienced vintner.

About Buon Vino Super Jet Wine Purifier Filter Pads

The Super Jet Coarse Filter Pads (#1) (5–7 microns) are designed for large-volume filtration and are exclusively used with the Buon Vino Super Jet Wine Filter. These coarse pads efficiently remove large particulates, such as grape skins, seeds, and other debris, from wines that have been aging for 30–60 days. The Super Jet system is capable of filtering up to 270 liters per hour, making it ideal for winemakers who work with larger batches. Which Pads to Use: Begin with Coarse Pads (#1) to remove larger particles. Afterward, move on to Polishing Pads (#2) for medium particulates and finish with Fine/Sterile Pads (#3) for the final stage of filtration. Proper Pad Placement: Place the Coarse Pads (#1) in the first filter plate of the Super Jet Wine Filter, ensuring the rough side is facing up. This allows for optimal flow and efficient particle removal. Using an Electric System: With the Super Jet Wine Filter, the self-priming pump will automatically start filtering once the pads are installed. The Super Jet system is designed for high-capacity filtering, handling up to 270 liters per hour with ease. Filtering Your Wine: Start with Coarse Pads (#1) to filter out the larger particles from your wine. The Super Jet system allows you to filter large batches quickly, ensuring that your wine is clear and sediment-free as it passes through the pads. Few Filtering Tips & Troubleshooting: Tip: For best results, always filter in stages, starting with Coarse Pads (#1) and gradually moving to finer pads. Troubleshooting: If the system shows signs of pressure build-up or the flow slows significantly, check the clarity of your wine and ensure the pads are not clogged. Rinse the system between different wines for optimal performance.
