This device converts any lamp with a metal socket into a touch-controlled lamp. Simply touch the lamp to switch between 3 levels of illumination. Compatible with incandescent bulbs up to 150w. Dimmer Controls are a convenient way to select just the right amount of light needed. They can create a mood from night light to full brightness while also saving money by eliminating the need for expensive 3-way bulbs. Simple screw bulb into dimmer and dimmer into socket. Instructions: 1. Turn on your lamp (2nd position on 3-way sockets). 2. Unplug the lamp, remove the shade and bulb. 3. Screw the dimmer firmly into your lamp socket. 4. Install an ordinary one-way light bulb, even in a 3-way socket. 5. Plug the lamp into a wall outlet, wait a moment and touch any metal portion of your lamp to select desired light level. 1st touch-NIGHT LIGHT; 2nd touch-MEDIUM, for normal room light; 3rd touch-HIGH full brightness for reading; 4th touch-OFF. For use with any metal socket lamp. CAUTION: DO NOT EXCEED LAMP WATTAGE USED ON END PRODUCT (LAMP FIXTURE). Note: Do not use this dimmer control with another dimmer in the same circuit.”
